£40,000 – £55,000 + Van/Car + Stay away allowance £50 per night + overtime + OTE 60K + Training + Progression to Senior Management + Pension + Annual Leave + MORE

A growing utilities contractor are expanding their team and looking for an experienced site manager to join and become the project leads right hand person. You’ll need to travel and stay away on sites covering Cornwall to Scotland with an ideal location base of being in the midlands, Nottingham, Coventry, Birmingham or surrounding areas.

Due to continued expansion with blue chip and reputable clients this utilities contractor is now looking for an experienced site manager to run 1-2 sites at a time, oversee gangs and adhere to a high level of health and safety. With a strong background in electrical works specific to utilises you’ll oversee gas, electrical and mechanical works.

As a site manager your role will involve:

* Manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

* Supervise site teams, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and allocate resources effectively.

* Follow strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations across all project activities specific to utilities work on site.

* Provide regular project updates and maintain effective communication with clients, teams and suppliers.

You will need:

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, mechanical & electrical systems and utility services such as gas, water, and electric

* At least 3 years working as a site manager or supervisor on similar or utilities projects

* Happy to stay away regularly and travel on a nationwide basis

* SMSTS or SSSTS and relevant utilities qualifications
