Assistant Estimator

Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Estimator to join a busy team in Basingstoke on a temporary 3-month contract with the potential to become permanent. This role is ideal for someone with some electrical knowledge who is keen to develop their estimating skills and grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Estimator in preparing accurate costings and quotations
Support the team with project evaluations and material assessments
Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors as needed

Requirements:

Ideally some electrical knowledge
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Local to Basingstoke or surrounding areas
