We’re recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a successful and expanding business based in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of payroll while also gaining exposure to wider areas of finance — all within a supportive, down-to-earth team.

The company operates across multiple UK sites and has exciting international plans, offering long-term opportunity for those ready to grow.

Manage payroll for 300 employees – from start to finish

Handle pensions, PAYE, NI, and all related queries with confidence

Liaise closely with HR on contracts, new starters, and benefit changes

Provide clear, accurate answers to payroll questions from staff

Take part in potential systems upgrades and streamlining projects

Support the wider finance team on AP/AR and accounting tasks when time allow

What We’re Looking For:
Solid experience in a payroll-focused role

Strong knowledge of pensions and payroll tax legislation

Comfortable using Excel

ADP experience is desirable, but not essential

Someone who is happy to take ownership, answer questions, and roll up their sleeves

Ambition to develop further into wider accounts work over time
