Clearfield Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established Groundworks contractor based in Ipswich who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a QS / Estimator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected business with a clear, genuine progression route towards Commercial Manager level for the right individual.

The Role

You will be working closely with the existing commercial team, supporting the preparation of tenders, cost planning, valuations, and managing financial aspects of groundworks and civils projects. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded, and keen to take the next step in their career.

What We're Looking For

Experience as a QS, Estimator, or Assistant QS/Estimator within Groundworks and Civils.

Strong understanding of cost management, tendering, and commercial processes.

Ability to work collaboratively within a small but busy commercial team.

Ambition to progress. There is a structured pathway to step into a Commercial Manager role in the coming years.
