A leading main contractor based in Solihull, specialising in large-scale industrial and logistics projects valued between £10m-£150m. They are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and support continued growth across the Midlands region.
Senior Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities
* Manage all commercial aspects of industrial and logistics projects from inception to completion.
* Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
* Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract management.
* Ensure commercial compliance, risk management, and accurate forecasting.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to drive project success.
Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
* Proven track record on industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial projects.
* Strong understanding of contract forms (NEC/JCT) and cost control processes.
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver accurate commercial reporting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Senior Quantity Surveyor benefits
* Salary £75,000 – £85,000 depending on experience.
