Salary: £35,000-£45,000

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Birmingham team. In this role, you will ensure that health, safety, quality, and environmental policies are fully implemented across all operations. You will maintain compliance, foster a positive safety culture, conduct audits and inspections, investigate incidents, and support training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.

* Compile and monitor RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).

* Promote a positive health, safety, quality, and environmental culture across all teams.

* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.

* Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits.

* Report on EHSQ performance of project teams and subcontractors, making recommendations to management.

* Review contractor and sub-contractor safety documentation.

* Assist in the development and rollout of EHSQ training programs.

* Maintain professional knowledge and relevant memberships, including IOSH.

Qualifications & Experience:

* NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).

* IOSH membership (desirable).

* Degree or diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).

* Knowledge of ISO standards (45001, 9001, 14001) and Safe T Cert.

* Experience in building services, construction, or engineering.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to work on own initiative.

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
