Due to continued success and significant growth, they are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager/Senior Project Manager to join their team.
This contractor is partnered with United Utilities on the AMP8 framework, extending their collaboration for at least five years. This partnership will manage over £3 billion in infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment upgrades and the UK’s largest spill reduction program, protecting over 500 kilometres of rivers and bathing waters.
Your new role:
As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a portfolio of projects within the water sector. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery from initial design through to construction and handover, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is a permanent position is based in the North West, with hybrid working and flexibility to manage projects closest to home.
What you’ll need to succeed:
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven successful track record in managing projects from inception through to completion within the water (clean or waste) industry, with a focus on cost control, quality and safety
- Strong team leadership and people management skills
- Experience in working with NEC contracts
- Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
- CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Understanding civil engineering principles and practices
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
