Electrical Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical delivery on a commercial office fit out project. This freelance position requires a strong leader who can manage site activities, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and drive works to completion on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all on-site electrical activities, including direct labour and subcontractors

*

Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and design documents, ensuring full compliance on site

*

Carry out regular inspections, maintaining high levels of quality control throughout the installation

*

Coordinate daily with other trade managers, the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider project team

*

Uphold health & safety standards: ensure RAMS are in place, enforce PPE requirements, and maintain safe working practices

*

Review test & inspection certificates, commissioning documents, and ensure compliance with project standards

*

Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions where required

*

Support snagging, defect remediation, and preparation of handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate records including daily/weekly site reports, timesheets, and material usage

Required Qualifications & Experience

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Site Manager

*

Proven track record delivering commercial or industrial projects

*

ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS (or SMSTS advantageous)

*

Full UK Driving Licence
