A highly respected, client-focused consultancy operating across the commercial property and built environment sectors is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established London team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role on major projects, ranging from commercial office refurbishments and CAT A / CAT B fit outs, to retail, industrial, heritage, and mixed-use schemes.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will deliver full pre- and post-contract cost management services, working closely with high-profile clients, developers, and design teams. You will be given autonomy from day one, with the support of a collaborative team known for technical excellence, quality reporting, and long-term client partnerships.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced consultancy QS seeking more responsibility, flagship projects, and confidence that their progression is taken seriously within a forward-thinking and well-structured business.

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities:

Leading cost planning, estimating, and feasibility studies
Managing tender documentation, procurement, and contract administration
Overseeing valuations, variations, and agreement of final accounts
Providing strategic cost advice and value engineering insight
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Ensuring smooth delivery across multiple concurrent projectsSenior Quantity Surveyor – Candidate Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (RICS accredited preferred)
MRICS preferred, or strong experience with a clear progression path
5+ years' experience in a UK consultancy environment
Strong contract knowledge (JCT and NEC)
Confident managing projects independently and presenting to clients
Highly organised with strong communication and analytical skills

Salary £65,000 – £75,000 (experience dependent)
