Groundworks Site Manager / Foreman

EA Associates are working with a well-respected groundworks contractor to recruit an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for a new housebuilding project in Suffolk, commencing January 2026.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term stability with a reputable contractor and a strong pipeline of residential schemes.

Key responsibilities

*

Manage all groundworks activities on a busy residential development site

*

Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and material deliveries

*

Ensure work is delivered in line with programme, quality standards and H&S regulations

*

Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress and any issues to senior management

*

Liaise closely with the client, housebuilder, and internal teams

Requirements

*

Proven experience managing groundworks on housebuilding projects

*

SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are essential

*

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to manage programmes, logistics and site safety to a high standard
