Project Manager – Permanent Position

Location: Gatwick Airport (Airside Project)

Red Sky Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Manager to join a highly respected, long-established construction contractor delivering a major design and build project within Gatwick Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a contractor known for delivering complex, high-spec projects across the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will lead a significant airside development, ensuring delivery to strict timelines within a challenging, live-airport environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in leading and delivering design and build contracts, ensuring technical excellence, safe delivery, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key Requirements

Strong civils background, ideally with structural or infrastructure experience

Proven track record delivering projects to tight deadlines

Experience working in high-security or complex operational environments

Aviation experience is advantageous but not essential

Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams through all project phases

Qualifications & Certifications

Recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMQ or equivalent)

Valid CSCS Manager card

SMSTS certification

First Aid at Work (preferred)

Ability to obtain an airside pass and pass full background checks, including 5-year referencing

Full UK driving licence
