Business Central Systems & Automation Lead

We are a fast-growing multi-company group operating in renewables, data centres, construction and infrastructure across the UK and Europe. With continued growth ahead, we are moving all core companies to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and are looking for a Business Central Systems & Automation Lead to take full ownership of the new system.

This is a senior strategic role with broad influence across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the entire Business Central environment for all group companies

Configure posting groups, dimensions, approval workflows, user roles and permissions

Work with our implementation partner on migration and go-live

Build automation using Power Automate integrated with Teams, SharePoint and Business Central

Develop and maintain project and job costing structures for renewables, construction and data centre operations

Support Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement and Commercial teams with processes and reporting

Maintain data quality, security and structured documentation

Build and maintain reporting dashboards (Power BI experience is beneficial)

Drive continuous improvement, automation and optimisation across the organisation’s systems

Requirements

5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Strong understanding of Jobs/Projects, Dimensions, Posting Groups and approval workflows

Experience with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 integrations

Ability to support multiple companies and business units within one environment

Proactive and solutions-driven mindset

Based within commuting distance of Radlett / NW London

Experience in construction, infrastructure or project-based environments is advantageous
