Group Project Coordinator

A rapidly growing recycling organisation dedicated to innovation, sustainability and operational excellence are preparing for the relocation of their large operational site, including all facilities, multiple production lines, processing technology and key business functions. To support this major programme, they are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the lead project team.

Role Overview

The role involves but is not limited to:-

* Gather and analyse project data.

* Participate in project design meetings when scope and project deliverables are defined.

* Support the quote process with providing data and information that will inform the project cost.

* Monitor team performance and ensure people are held to account for their action tasks.

* Evaluate project progress and status information.

* Track budget data including cost to complete, spend on the project to date and highlight any risks to the Project Manager.

* Produce, issue and present project status updates to key stakeholders.

* Maintain KPI data for all projects that can be viewed and is available at any time.

* Produce and maintain timing plans to track progress.

* Manage and maintain project documentation and ensure version control.

* Ensure minutes of project meetings, actions and open issues are recorded and circulated to the team post meeting.

* Act as a point of contact with the customer and project stakeholders to ensure communications flow inwards and outwards from the business unit.

* Support the production of and thereafter maintenance of documents related to standards. This may include safe system of work, standard manufactured items and project procedures

* Support the booking in and pre-verification of visitors and contractors on site to ensure they have appropriate insurance, risk assessments and method statements.

* Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Essential Experience:

* Demonstrable track record in a Project Management Co-ordination role

* Commercial awareness and customer facing experience

* Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

* Proficiency in project management tools and software

* Able to produce and update timing plans

* Previous experience tracking budgets

Desirable Experience:

* Prince 2 or other project management qualification

* Understanding of Agile methodologies

* Knowledge of automation / line building or high pressure die casting processes

* Previous experience of using / reading CAD
