A well-established building services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Technical Services Manager to oversee mechanical service delivery across a range of commercial environments. This is a key role supporting planned maintenance, technical compliance, and project works, while providing guidance to both internal teams and clients.
The Role
Lead and support mechanical service teams across commercial sites
Act as the technical authority for mechanical systems including HVAC, plant rooms, hot and cold water, and heating systems
Oversee PPM strategies and ensure statutory compliance
Provide engineering solutions, advise on asset lifecycle plans, and support small works projects
Conduct site audits, troubleshoot plant issues, and guide remedial actions
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service and communicationWhat We're Looking For
Strong background in mechanical building services maintenance
Experience supervising / leading engineering teams or contractors
Previously held commercial gas qualifications (ideal but not essential to hold currently)
Confident in reading technical drawings, diagnosing system faults, and advising on remedial works
An organised communicator who can balance technical detail with clear adviceBenefits
