Pipefitter

The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting an experienced Pipefitter to join their team on a large-scale civils infrastructure project. This is a long-term position offering stability and the opportunity to work on a major, high-value development.

Pipefitter Responsibilities:

Working with and reporting to the Site Supervisor / Project Manager

*

Installing, assembling and testing pipework systems across various areas of the project

*

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

*

Working with carbon steel, stainless steel and plastic pipework

*

Carrying out hot works and welding where required (depending on qualifications)

*

Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and project specifications

*

Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment

*

Liaising with other trades and subcontractors on site

*

Supporting the delivery of works to deadlines and programme requirements

Pipefitter Requirements:

*

Proven experience working as a Pipefitter on civils, utilities or large-scale infrastructure projects

*

Ability to read and work from technical drawings

*

CSCS / CPCS and relevant pipefitting qualifications

*

Confident working independently and as part of a wider installation team

*

Strong commitment to health & safety
