Geotechnical Consultant

We are looking for a geotechnical consultant for a contractor who delivering innovative infrastructure solutions across the UK. The Projects are large-scale civil works on rail.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Consultant/Engineer to join our London team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide geotechnical expertise across a variety of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct geotechnical assessments, site investigations, and risk analyses.

* Provide design recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and earthworks.

* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design calculations.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

* Support project teams from concept through to delivery.

Requirements:

* Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

* Chartered status (CEng/MICE/ICE).

* Strong experience in geotechnical consultancy or engineering roles.

* Proficient in geotechnical software and design standards.

* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
