A respected construction refurbishment main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of multiple commercial refurbishment schemes across London and the South East. With projects reaching up to £3.5m, this senior role offers autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to contribute to the continued success of a well-regarded contractor. Working from the Stratford office and attending regular site visits, you will lead project teams, uphold programme performance, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple live refurbishment projects simultaneously

Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Lead and support Project Managers and Site Managers
*
Conduct regular site visits across London and the South East
*
Manage client relationships and attend progress meetings
*
Review and update project programmes
*
Ensure health & safety compliance across all sites
*
Oversee subcontractor performance and coordination
*
Approve valuations, variations, and project reporting
*
Support tender reviews and project planning
*
Drive continuous improvement across project teams
*
Report directly to senior leadership on overall project performance
