Contracts Manager
Contracts Manager | Main Contractor | Yorkshire | £70k – £80k + Generous Package
We are working closely with a leading Yorkshire-based main contractor with a turnover of c£80m who is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team. Operating from their West Yorkshire office, the company delivers a diverse portfolio of projects (Industrial, Leisure, Healthcare and Education) across the region, ranging from small works through to schemes up to £12m in value.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring each is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll provide leadership to site teams, manage client relationships, and ensure operational excellence across all stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple live construction projects across Yorkshire.
Lead site teams and support Project Managers to drive high standards of delivery.
Oversee programme, cost control, quality, and health & safety compliance.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement within the business.
About You:
Proven track record as a Contracts Manager (or similar senior role) within a main contracting environment.
Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of delivering industrial, leisure, education or healthcare schemes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
A commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
