Mobile Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Engineer with electrical experience to join our clients' team on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent after a successful probation period.

Base Location: Witham
Coverage Area: Southeast, East Anglia & parts of London
(Occasional work in the Midlands – overnight stays required, accommodation provided)

The Role

Working as an extension of the client's maintenance team
Rebuilding, maintaining, and repairing all types of conveyor systems
Mobile role supporting various client sites
Typical working hours 6:00am – 6:00pm (often shorter depending on workload)

Requirements

Mechanical Engineer with electrical experience
Proven experience working on conveyor systems
FMCG experience preferred
Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites
Full UK driving licence

Pay & Benefits

£20-£22 per hour (dependent on experience)
Company van provided after 3-month probation
Opportunity to transition to a permanent position
