Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Welwyn, Hertfordshire
Salary: £55,000-£70,000 (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing Commercial Team in Welwyn, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

Managing client applications for payment, including all associated processes and dispute resolution.

Overseeing commercial performance and providing detailed analysis.

*

Managing compensation events and early warnings.

*

Preparing and delivering regular commercial reports.

*

Acting as key point of contact for client liaison.

*

Subcontract management, including procurement, administration, and performance monitoring.

Required Experience

*

HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).

*

Strong familiarity with NEC contracts, particularly NEC3 Option C.

*

Previous experience within the Utilities industry.

*

Proven background in commercial contract management.

*

Solid understanding of monthly reporting processes and earned value analysis.

*

Excellent communication skills with confidence in client and management interaction.

*

Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment.

*

Strong organisational skills and excellent timekeeping.

Salary & Package

A competitive salary of £55–70K, dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional package details can be discussed during the interview process.
