Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Stockport (with prior induction in Rochdale)
Start Date: 5th January
Contract Duration: 3-month ongoing contract
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming roofing project (flat roof) at a large distribution centre for a well known Brewery. Once this project is completed, the role will transition to a pub refurbishment project.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the roofing project at the distribution centre, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
Manage and supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare progress reports and attend site meetings as required.
Manage the transition to the pub refurbishment project after the roofing work is completed.
Coordinate and liaise with the client’s head office for induction and project follow-up.
Site Manager Requirements:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid Certificate
Manual Handling Training
Working at Heights Training
Asbestos Awareness Certification
Proven experience managing similar projects (roofing, refurbishments)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
