Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in volume housebuilding? Do you have expertise in timber frame construction? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, who are delivering a high-volume timber frame housing project in Sittingbourne, Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established developer and take ownership of site operations on a busy and exciting residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.

*

Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead, motivate, and supervise site staff, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure high performance and compliance with project specifications.

*

Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality, ensuring work is completed to specification and in accordance with building regulations.

*

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure a strict adherence to safety procedures, making sure the site is compliant with all health and safety regulations.

*

Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, proactively identifying potential delays and ensuring timely delivery. Provide regular reports to the client and senior management.

*

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise on-site in a timely and efficient manner.

*

Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven Experience: A solid track record of managing volume housebuilding projects, with a strong understanding of timber frame construction.

*

Leadership Skills: Experience leading teams on site, with the ability to motivate, manage, and inspire a team of professionals and operatives.

*

Industry Qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS card (management level), and First Aid certification are essential.

*

Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all parties involved in the project.

*

Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to overcoming challenges, ensuring the project remains on track.

*

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that quality and safety are never compromised.

*

Timber Frame Experience (Desirable): Experience in managing timber frame projects would be an advantage, but not essential.
