Quotes & Order Processor
You’ll be responsible for quoting associated products, processing customer quote requests, and creating accurate job files so orders can move smoothly through production and dispatch. You’ll be in daily contact with customers and internal teams, ensuring every quote is correct, complete and delivered on time.
Job Description – Quotes Order Processor
Key responsibilities
* Process incoming quote requests within company time expectations
* Work from customer drawings, checking all specification details and highlighting any issues to your manager
* Evaluate information provided by customers to identify missing or incorrect data
* Talk to customers daily regarding quotes, providing clear and professional support
* Manually create job files containing all necessary paperwork
* Use company email and telephone systems for internal and external communication
* Cover other staff within the department when required
* Keep your work area clean and tidy in line with health & safety requirements
* Check any machines under your responsibility weekly to ensure appropriate use
* Observe all company health & safety and smoking policies
* Be flexible to work overtime at short notice when needed
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience in an office, administration, estimating or order-processing role (manufacturing/construction sector experience is an advantage)
* Is confident dealing with customers by phone and email
* Has strong attention to detail and accuracy when working from drawings and technical information
* Is highly organised and able to work to deadlines and time expectations
* Is a team player who is happy to support colleagues and cover where needed
* Is flexible, proactive and willing to take on additional duties as reasonably requested
