Senior Building Surveyor – Salary & Benefits
£45,000 – £65,000 depending on experience

Senior Building Surveyor – Job Overview
Manage a varied caseload across commercial and residential properties
Carry out detailed defect diagnosis surveys and technical reporting
Prepare costed schedules of work and oversee reinstatement and repair projects
Deliver full contract administration, including managing variations, valuations, and payments
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and client SLA/KPI requirements
Work with insurers, loss adjusters, policyholders, and private clients
Contribute to service delivery standards and collaborative team knowledge sharing
Senior Building Surveyor – Job Requirements
MRICS qualified, with ideally 3-5 years' post-qualification experience
Strong background in defect diagnosis, technical reporting, and JCT contract administration
Candidates looking to sit their APC exam in 2026 will be considered for this role
Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations
Experience in both commercial and residential sectors
Insurance-related surveying experience desirable but not essential
