We're working with a specialist building consultancy known for its technical expertise in rights of light, daylight & sunlight, neighbourly matters, and complex property advisory work. With a growing Bristol team and an expanding project pipeline across the South West, they're looking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor.

The Role

A varied and technically rewarding position where you'll deliver a mixture of project and professional work, including:

Commercial and residential refurbishment projects and contract administration

Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys

Dilapidations (landlord & tenant), schedules of condition and defect analysis

Party wall, neighbourly matters advice and boundary-related instructions

Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors within the Bristol office

Working closely with clients ranging from developers and funds to estates teams and private clients

You'll become part of an agile, well-respected consultancy known for delivering high-quality technical advice and client service.

What You'll Need

Experience as a Building Surveyor within a consultancy

MRICS qualified (or equivalent senior-level expertise)

Strong technical reporting skills and excellent attention to detail

Experience across both project and professional disciplines

Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload

Client-facing confidence and strong communication skills

£55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
