About the role
The Technical Services Manager will take responsibility for overseeing all mechanical, electrical and technical aspects of refurbishment and fit-out projects. The role involves:

Managing the design, coordination and integration of M&E services within project schemes.

Working closely with project managers, site teams, designers and subcontractors to ensure services are installed to specification, on time and within budget.

Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documents, identifying risks, clashes or coordination issues, and implementing solutions.

Conducting regular site inspections to monitor quality, compliance and installation standards.
*
Leading technical meetings, advising clients and internal teams on best practice, regulatory requirements and value-engineering opportunities.

Ensuring all building services comply with relevant legislation, health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Supporting project handover through commissioning oversight, testing documentation and final technical sign-off.

Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager, M&E Manager or Building Services Manager within the commercial fit-out or refurbishment sector.
*
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems, particularly in relation to interior refurbishment environments.
*
Ability to interpret and review technical drawings, specifications and service designs.
*
Excellent coordination skills, with experience resolving design and installation clashes.
*
Solid understanding of relevant regulations, building standards and compliance requirements.
*
Strong communication and leadership skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, designers, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams.
