Onsite Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Onsite Project Manager to join our team. This is a site-based role working across the UK, managing projects from start to finish and making sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

You’ll be hands-on, well organised and comfortable taking ownership on site, working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly.

The Role

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of live sites, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed programmes, budgets and safety requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

* Managing site-based projects from mobilisation through to completion

* Overseeing daily site activity and supervising subcontractors and trades

* Acting as the main point of contact on site for clients and stakeholders

* Ensuring works meet specifications, drawings and required standards

* Updating programmes of works and project plans on a regular basis

* Coordinating resources, materials and subcontractor schedules

* Carrying out regular site checks including health & safety, site setup and housekeeping

* Managing RAMS, COSHH and site documentation

* Leading site meetings, client meetings and subcontractor meetings

* Managing snagging, quality control and close-out activities

* Keeping project records and systems up to date

* Providing regular updates to senior management on progress, risks and issues

Requirements:

* Has at least 5 year’s experience working on site

* Can read and understand construction drawings

* Is confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades

* Has a strong understanding of health & safety and CDM 2015

* Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing a busy workload

* Is client-facing and focused on delivering a high standard of service

Skills & Qualifications

* SMSTS

* NEBOSH Construction

* CDM Regulations 2015 knowledge

* First Aid

* Asbestos Awareness

* Fire Warden

* Full clean UK driving licence

* Experience using Procore or similar site management systems

You’ll also need to be flexible with travel and occasional stays away from home, as well as opening up and closing sites when required.
