A leading FM and Minatenace company in the North West is seeking a skilled Combustion Engineer. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work on critical heating and hot-water systems while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.Projects include offices, shopping centres, schools etc.
As the Combustion Engineer, you will:
Deliver first-line reactive support to critical heating and hot-water plant, including gas pipework-occasionally outside normal working hours.
Safely enable and reset critical plant following power outages.
Ensure all company-issued tools are PAT-tested and fully compliant with regulations.
Support local financial control across reactive and essential repairs to maintain project efficiency.
Build strong, productive relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure exceptional service delivery.About You
To thrive in this role, you will have:
A valid ACS certification covering core safety and gas appliances, plus experience in a similar engineering role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC and gas equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction.
Proven experience completing risk assessments and method statements accurately.
