Operating from their Glasgow office, this respected builder has secured a range of high-profile, publicly funded projects and is now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on one of these flagship schemes.

Your New Role
As Senior QS, you'll be involved from preconstruction through to delivery, shaping the success of your project from day one. You'll:

Develop budgets and cost plans during preconstruction and procurement
Work closely with design and operational teams on buildability, value engineering, and cost control
Lead subcontractor procurement and manage commercial relationships throughout deliveryThis role offers autonomy and flexibility, with time split between site, office, and home, giving you the independence to drive your project commercially.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Proven experience delivering projects in education, healthcare, or commercial sectors
Strong understanding of two-stage tender processes within the public sector
Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and influence project outcomesYou'll report directly to the Commercial Director, gaining exposure to some of Scotland's most respected construction professionals-a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise with a premium contractor.
