Design Manager

We’re supporting a leading Tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join their East Midlands team. This role will focus on complex, technical build projects, with a strong emphasis on MoJ and MoD projects.

The Role:
Lead and manage the design process from pre construction to handover. Work closely with project and commercial teams on high-value, secure projects.
Coordinate design teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors.
Ensure compliance, buildability and design quality across all stages.
Identify design risks and drive effective solutions.

About You:
Proven experience as a DM or Senior DM within major construction projects.
Background working on secure, MoJ or MoD schemes is highly desirable.
Strong technical understanding and excellent coordination skills.
Confident communicator able to lead design strategy on complex builds.

Package:
Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience.
