M&E Manager – Main Contractor

* Permanent: Up to £80,000 + Package

We are currently searching for an experienced M&E Manager who is seeking a new challenge. At the forefront of construction innovation, this main contractor is setting the bar for project delivery in the UK. Due to recent project wins, they are looking to strengthen their delivery team with a dedicated M&E professional.

As M&E Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all mechanical and electrical aspects of high-rise residential schemes across London and the South East, ensuring seamless integration with the wider construction programme.

The Role:

* Lead the coordination and management of all mechanical and electrical services on site.

* Oversee M&E subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of works.

* Review technical drawings and specifications for buildability, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.

* Manage M&E programmes, track progress, and ensure deliverables align with the overall construction schedule.

* Chair M&E meetings and workshops, liaising with consultants, design teams, and site staff.

* Ensure all installations adhere to building regulations, planning conditions, CDM, and relevant industry standards.

* Identify and mitigate M&E risks early, supporting change control and impact assessments.

* Provide technical support to site teams, resolving queries quickly and effectively.

* Drive best practice in sustainability, energy efficiency, and innovative building services solutions.

Experience Required:

* 5+ years’ experience in an M&E management role within a main contractor or large subcontractor.

* Proven track record delivering high-rise residential, hotel, or PBSA projects.

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

* A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
