Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure scheme in Leicester. This role is well-suited to an engineer with strong setting-out capability, experience working on live highways projects, and the ability to support site delivery teams to maintain programme and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out for highways works including drainage, earthworks, kerbs, paving and associated structures

*

Managing QA documentation, site records and as-built information

*

Supporting site management with technical queries and design coordination

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with programme

*

Liaising with subcontractors, designers and the wider delivery team

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civils projects

*

Proficiency with GPS, total station and digital setting-out software

*

Strong understanding of highways specifications and quality requirements

*

CSCS card essential; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable

*

Ability to commit to the full 7-month duration
