Overview

We are seeking an experienced Night Manager to oversee night-time operations on a large-scale data centre construction project in Newport. This is a long-term freelance opportunity offering 12 months of consistent work, with CIS payments available.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all night-shift site activities to ensure safe and efficient progress

*

Coordinate subcontractors and labour on site

*

Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures and RAMS

*

Maintain site logs, reports, and handovers to the day team

*

Monitor progress against programme and escalate issues where necessary

*

Conduct nightly site inspections and ensure security and compliance

*

Liaise with the project management team to maintain standards and productivity

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Night Manager or Senior Site Manager on construction projects

*

Fit-out experience of commercial properties

*

Previous experience on mission-critical, data centre, or M&E-heavy schemes highly desirable

*

SMSTS (or SSSTS minimum)

*

CSCS Card

*

First Aid (preferred)

*

Strong communication and leadership skills

*

Ability to manage teams effectively during night operations
