Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits
A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be providing a high level of technical services to clients, including surveying and analytical duties. Our client is a highly respected outfit, who are actively growing their client base in the South East and Home Counties. Applicants must be able to hit the ground running and must be able to articulate technical details directly to clients. The company are offering competitive salaries and benefits packages.
You will be travelling across: Luton, St Albans, Watford, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Letchworth Garden City, Biggleswade, Bedford, Sandy, St Neots, Oxford, Didcot, Bicester, Brackley, Buckinham, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Slough, Reading, Stevenage, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Banbury, Wantage, Thatcham, Witney, Braintree, Harpenden, High Wycombe.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
* Will have worked within a UKAS accredited company
* Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
* Working knowledge of HSG 264 and 248 guidelines
* Professional manner
* Flexible to travel as required
* Good literacy and IT skills
The Role:
* Conducting management, demolition and refurbishment asbestos surveys
* Collecting ACM samples from site
* Undertaking 4 stage clearances
* Personal, leak, smoke, reassurance and background air testing
* Producing thorough technical reports for clients
* Meeting with clients to provide bespoke technical advice
* Working across a range of client sites
* Operating on a variety of asbestos removals projects
* Adhering to strict safety guidelines
