Overview
Our client, a leading civil engineering and structures contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale groundworks and reinforced concrete frame projects across the Glasgow area. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of complex groundworks and RC frame projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme and within budget. You will provide strong leadership to site teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain excellent communication with clients, consultants and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, programming and delivery of groundworks and RC frame projects.

*

Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

*

Manage project budgets, valuations, cost control and forecasting.

*

Coordinate design information, technical queries and problem-solving on site.

*

Liaise with clients, local authorities, subcontractors and internal teams.

*

Produce progress reports and ensure key project milestones are met.

*

Support and mentor site managers and engineers.

About You

*

Proven experience managing groundworks and RC frame projects in a contracting environment.

*

Strong understanding of civils construction methods, sequencing and temporary works.

*

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to tight timescales.

*

Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.

*

SMSTS, CSCS and relevant industry qualifications preferred.
