Site agent – Barao

Kennet Solutions are supporting a subcontractor on a project in Chelmsford, to find either a Project Manager or Site Agent.
This is a 6 month freelance position, outside IR35.
You will be working on a Highways project involving S278 works, drainage & kerbing as part of a larger new access road.
What is required:
* The role would involve writing & producing the RAM’s
* Managing packages of work and 2 gangs (7 guys in total)
* Liaising with the main contractor as well as other sub-contractors on site to ensure there are no delays
* Reading & interpreting drawings
* General commercial awareness related to NEC Contracts – EWN's, Change management
* Programme meeting with client every Monday
* Agreeing H&S
* Managing all compliance & CDM regulations
* Supporting the foreman with the ordering of materials
* Involved in measures, record taking and producing a diary
* Programming system used would be procore – experience of this would be advantageous
