This Design Coordinator role is based in North London with a medium-to-large established main contractor that has over 40 years of industry experience. They specialise in complex residential projects and work closely with investors, housing associations and developers, delivering technically demanding schemes through a collaborative, detail-driven approach.

As a Design Coordinator, you will coordinate design activities across high-rise residential developments, ensuring information flow, compliance and quality.

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate design information between internal teams, consultants and subcontractors
Review drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements
Manage and resolve design queries, risks and technical challenges
Support preconstruction activities where required
Ensure accurate documentation and track progress against design milestones
Facilitate collaboration across design, construction and client teamsRequired experience:

High-rise residential project experience (essential)
RIBA Stages 3-5 delivery experience (essential)
Background in design coordination with either a technical or design-led route (essential)
Preconstruction experience (desirable)
Façade, recladding or remediation experience (advantageous)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to confidently review, interpret and challenge technical detailsBenefits:
