A well-established architecture and surveying practice is looking for an experienced senior architectural technician to join its Kent-based studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial schemes, with a focus on precise technical design and high-quality construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed technical drawings, BIM models, and construction documentation across all project stages.
Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, relevant legislation, and structural or services requirements.
Collaborate closely with architects, surveyors, clients, and external consultants to deliver coordinated, practical design solutions.
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in drawing standards and efficient workflows.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, specifications, and other contract-related materials.
Support sustainable design initiatives and contribute to the studio's digital design development.Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a senior architectural technician in an architectural or multidisciplinary practice.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, BIM standards, and detailed construction methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with excellent technical drawing and modelling skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
Clear, confident communicator with a collaborative working style.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritise workload effectively.
Based in Kent or within a reasonable commuting distance.What's on Offer
