Finishing Foreman

Finishing Foreman – Residential – Dublin

We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor with bases across Ireland who have seen success across a number of projects. Due to continued success, there is now the need for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join the team on a Residential build.

Responsibilities

* Finishing Works Coordination & Supervision

Oversee all finishing stages of the residential project—carpentry, joinery, painting, flooring, snagging, and final detailing—ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

* Quality Control & Snag Management

Inspect completed works, identify defects, maintain detailed snag lists, and drive subcontractors to close out all snags to Tier-1 quality standards ahead of project handover.

* Subcontractor Oversight & Daily Coordination

Manage and coordinate finishing subcontractors on a daily basis, ensuring productivity, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining smooth workflow through to completion.

* Programme Tracking & Progress Reporting

Monitor finishing progress against the project programme, escalate risks or delays, and provide clear updates to the Site Manager and project leadership team.

* Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure all finishing activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company and Irish Health & Safety regulations, conducting daily checks and promoting safe working behaviours on site.

Requirements

Must have 6+ years’ in a similar role preferably on residential projects

Must have great communication skills both written and oral

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades’ background

Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin

Benefits

€70,000 – €75,000 + Vehicle + Package
