CAD Technician – Ferndown

Full-Time | Permanent | £27,000–£30,000 per annum

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established and highly successful manufacturing client based in Ferndown. As specialists within the construction industry, they are now looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing contracts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical drawing experience and proficiency in AutoCAD to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Salary & Benefits

* £27,000 – £30,000 per annum

* Annual performance-related bonus

* Monthly pay intervals

* Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week (between 8:00am – 6:00pm)

* Company pension scheme

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture

* Producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD

* Preparing technical and sample submittals

* Liaising effectively with Contractors, Architects and End Users

* Managing documentation through intranet-based document control systems

* Preparing all associated documentation to ensure compliance

* Liaising with manufacturing partners

Minimum Skills & Experience Required

* Experience within the construction industry is desirable

* Proficient in AutoCAD

* Strong attention to detail and a team-focused approach

* Commercially aware with the ability to work to strict deadlines

* Able to contribute to continuous improvement

* Excellent communication skills

* Full product and system training provided

* No known health risks associated with this role
