Overview of Position
Technical coordinator will provide a back up to Technical Manager on job running. Technical coordinator Participates in design workshops with consultants which are then coordinated with contractors for design development.
This is an exciting role which provides an opportunity for individuals with design interest, who will be involved in initial design stages through to design development and build.
Key Responsibilities
* Co-ordinates and manages fit-out/ S&C packages from design through to contractor design development
* Producing development strategies and issuing for sign off
* Ensuring contractor drawings and technical submittals are reviewed by consultants and internally prior to issuing
* Participating and leading Design Team and Sub-contractor meetings
* Liaising with construction, commercial and Sales team
* Ensure design is always compliant with sales brochure
* Compile estate management strategy and deliver training to Estate management
Specific Requirements
Technical Skills
* Good understanding of technical drawings
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent co-ordination skills
* Good technical knowledge of both residential and commercial construction together with a degree of flair for design.
* A working knowledge of the Building Regulations, NHBC (or other Warranty Provider) and associated legislation connected to the construction industry.
* The ability to recognize problems and to address issues in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications
* A degree in Architecture, structural engineering, mechanical & Electrical engineering or Interior design.
* Minimum of two years’ experience in the construction industry or architecture firm
