Contracts Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: Bury St Edmunds | Salary: £60-£65k + package 

About the Role:
Our client, a leading commercial construction firm renowned for delivering complex, high-quality projects, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to take ownership of contract management across multiple commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.).

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage variations, claims, and disputes.

Work closely with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to mitigate risks.

Maintain detailed records and provide contractual advice to senior management.

Support project delivery by identifying potential risks and solutions proactively.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within commercial construction.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts and industry best practices.

Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.

Relevant qualifications in construction management, law, or a related field are preferred.
