Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in cut-and-carve, structural alterations, and complex refurbishment projects to join our growing team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

This role involves managing challenging internal demolition, temporary works, structural cut-and-carve packages, and refurbishment phases within live or constrained environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all site activities on cut-and-carve and refurbishment projects.

Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and specialist contractors.

*

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

*

Oversee structural alterations, temporary works, and internal demolition phases.

*

Maintain project schedules, site records, and progress reporting.

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

*

Drive quality standards throughout all phases of the build.

*

Resolve site issues promptly to maintain workflow and productivity.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager on cut & carve / structural refurbishment projects.

*

Strong understanding of temporary works, structural sequencing, and internal construction methods.

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid (preferred).

*

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to work in live environments and manage multiple trades.

*

Strong technical awareness and attention to detail
