This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead a complex mechanical installation, including ductwork and building services management (BSM), within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Role Overview:
The Mechanical Project Manager will take ownership of all mechanical aspects of the refurbishment project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role involves close coordination with the client, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver a world-class venue refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical project on-site, including ductwork and BSM installations.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on-site.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.

Review and manage project schedules, identifying risks and mitigating delays.

Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues promptly.

Monitor project budgets and report progress to senior management.
*
Ensure high-quality standards and adherence to specifications.

Conduct site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally in refurbishment projects.

Strong knowledge of ductwork, mechanical systems, and BSM in commercial or cultural facilities.

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex on-site works.

Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*
Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
*
Relevant mechanical or construction qualifications preferred (e.g., HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management).

CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification advantageous.
