About the Role
We are seeking experienced Fire Door Inspectors / Surveyors to join our passive fire protection team. You will be responsible for surveying and inspecting FED single doors across a mixture of HMO properties and communal areas in residential blocks throughout Brent.
Access is straightforward, and current surveyors are averaging 70 doors per day, ensuring efficient workflow and strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities for a Fire Door Inspector
* Carry out fire door surveys and inspections in line with industry standards.
* Record findings using digital reporting tools (Bolster, OneTrace, SiteAudit Pro).
* Identify and document remedial actions, defects, and non‑compliance issues.
* Liaise with clients and compliance managers to deliver clear reports.
* Ensure all work meets legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Requirements for a Fire Door Inspector
* Carpentry/joinery background with fire door installation or inspection experience.
* BM TRADA and FIRAS accreditation desirable (training provided during induction).
* Strong knowledge of passive fire protection and compartmentation surveys.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Full UK driving licence; willingness to work across Brent and surrounding areas.
