Location: Portsmouth
Office and on-site (live projects)
Salary: £40-£55k

This family-run construction business (c. £5m turnover) has built its name on long-term relationships and repeat clients who genuinely value quality. Working directly with the leadership team, you’ll manage 4–5 projects a month (typically around £500k each) and have real influence on how things are delivered.

What you’ll do:

Lead cost management across multiple live projects

Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts

*

Work closely with loyal clients and trusted subcontractors

*

Input directly into project decisions and commercial strategy

What you’ll need:

Experience in a QS or Assistant QS role – ideally on fit-out and refurbishment projects

*

Solid understanding of cost planning, valuations and commercial reporting

*

Ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships
