Project Manager – High-End Interior & Heritage Projects
Location: South West London office with sites across Central London & Southern England
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor working on some of the UK’s most prestigious interior and heritage projects. This business delivers exceptional craftsmanship across luxury residences, landmark buildings, five-star hotels, and high-end retail environments.
They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of projects from order through to final account, ensuring delivery to the highest quality, programme, and commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously from commencement to completion
* Lead and coordinate site teams and resources to ensure works are delivered on time and to specification
* Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety, and site presentation
* Act as the primary client-facing representative, building and maintaining strong working relationships
* Review and interpret client drawings and programmes, producing sub-programmes and identifying risks or clashes
* Oversee commercial performance, including cost control and final accounts
* Coordinate material requirements and site deliveries in line with project programmes
* Prepare method statements and risk assessments as required
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ project management experience within construction or a related interiors sector (e.g. ceilings, dry lining, joinery, specialist contracting)
* Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
* Confident reading and interpreting drawings and programmes
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Excel
* Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
* Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist sector
