Commissioning Manager – Data Centres

We are recruiting an experienced Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects in Norway.

This is an owner-side role, responsible for overseeing the testing, verification, and handover of complex MEP systems within mission-critical environments. You will lead commissioning activities from early installation checks through to Integrated Systems Testing (IST), ensuring systems are delivered safely, fully documented, and ready for operation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on-site commissioning activities (Levels 1–5, including IST)

Review designs, submittals, test scripts, and commissioning documentation

*

Coordinate commissioning across mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines

*

Oversee quality assurance, inspections, testing, and H&S compliance

*

Track progress, resolve technical issues, and report to project leadership

*

Manage final handover and transition to operations

Requirements

*

Proven experience commissioning large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects

*

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, cooling, HV/LV, UPS, and generators

*

Degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering

*

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

*

Knowledge of commissioning standards, building regulations, and safety requirements

*

Fluent English; Norwegian advantageous

*

Willingness to be site-based in Norway
