About the Role
This is a hands-on Project Manager role with full end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of retail fit-out projects, from initial survey through to final handover, O&M completion, and commercial close-out.
The Project Manager acts as the single point of control and accountability throughout the project lifecycle and is the primary client-facing lead during live delivery. The role requires a confident leader who can manage multiple fast-track retail projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, compliance, and brand execution.
Weekly travel to sites across the UK is a key part of the role, with the position based out of the London office.
Responsibilities

Take full ownership of retail fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion and defects period

Maintain full project governance, document control, and digital traceability across all stages
*
Lead design coordination, technical surveys, and risk identification to ensure build certainty
*
Manage subcontractor tendering, cost comparisons, and commercial control to protect margins
*
Develop and manage programmes, logistics plans, procurement schedules, and site setup
*
Lead construction delivery with a strong focus on health & safety, quality control, and programme performance
*
Act as the main client contact, managing expectations, progress updates, and variations
*
Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, technical standards, landlord requirements, and statutory approvals
*
Manage variations, final accounts, and commercial close-out
*
Oversee practical completion, handover, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and certification
*
Retain responsibility for completed projects during the defects and warranty period
*
Represent the business professionally with clients, landlords, designers, centre management, and authorities
