A growing building services contractor in Sittingbourne is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is a key role for a commercially aware estimator who can produce accurate, competitive tenders across a range of mechanical building services projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications

*

Carrying out take-offs and producing cost plans

*

Reviewing tender documents to identify risks and opportunities

*

Sourcing and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations

*

Assisting with value engineering and tender clarifications

*

Working closely with commercial and delivery teams

Candidate Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services

*

Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical systems

*

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

*

Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

*

Strong IT and communication skills
